In March, I co-led the organization of DPW—a weekend aimed at bringing in URM students prior to applying for graduate school. We invited 40 outstanding students from 16 states, Guam, and Puerto Rico to visit, participate in workshops, meet faculty, and learn about our programs. The Graduate School has just published a very kind article on the weekend. We hope to be able to continue (and expand) the weekend in the future!
